Fight for Air Climb

The American Lung Association is hosting a Fight for Air Climb to help people with lung cancer. This event will be held on March 28th at the Metropolitan Square in St. Louis. The reason participants do the challenge is for those that are "fighting for air". The challenge is that participants climb two miles, or 584 stairs. We have two teachers that are climbing in the event. Miss Lynn and Mrs. Stone train for this event by running after school during the week. Mrs. Stone does leg workouts like lunges, squats, and calf raises.  Miss Lynn is up to 2.5 miles in running and she is ready for the strength portion of the stairs challenge.
