The
A-C/Porta High School girl’s first volleyball game is August 27th
against Midwest Central in Manito. The
girls have been practicing and conditioning for three weeks now. There
are a total of 34 A-C/Porta volleyball players. Briley
Eilers, Sidney Donnan, Ashleigh Smith, Brittany Smith, and Kaycee Turasky are
the seniors. There is a foreign exchange student from Italy attending Porta High School that is participating
in volleyball. Her name is Martina Galiotto and she’s 17.
Carrie
Jo Donnan, Shelbi Wilson, and Lora Pucket are the coaches. Coach Wilson is the new JV coach and she just started her first year teaching junior high science at Porta
The
first home game is September 8th against Beardstown at Ashland starting at 5:00 with the freshman game first.
